Before the holidays end, join us with your child to create your very own Smiling Face Kokedama! Discover a fun and therapeutic way to share moments of happiness and relaxation methods, and take home a living piece of art. Let’s catch the last sunshine of summer—and wrap up the season with a big, happy SMILE! 📅 Date: August 24, 2025 (Sun) 🕘 Time: 10:00 – 11:15 AM 📍 Location: Kaleido, 1550 16th Avenue Block C North, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 3K9 @kaleido_ca 💲 Fee: $50 per pair (Child age 4+) — includes all plants, materials & tools 💡 FREE if fully covered by insurance** 🪴Instructor:Michelle Yung (Ontario Registered Social Worker/Florist) 👯♀️ Bring a friend! Kokedama (苔玉) originates from Japan and is a unique gardening technique that wraps a plant’s roots in a ball of moss and soil, allowing it to grow without a pot. This method not only preserves the plant’s natural beauty but is also charming and therapeutic—perfect for brightening up your home or office with greenery and life. 🧾**Insurance Coverage** This workshop is co-hosted with HarbourHaven Psychotherapy & Consultation and may be eligible for reimbursement under your Extended Health Benefits.
