Hanamizuki incorporates horticultural therapy into our practice, blending the healing power of flowers into our therapeutic work, and helping clients relieve stress, build resilience and mental well-being. We are also developing a unique floral therapy model focused specifically on using flowers as a medium.

Michelle Yung is a florist who integrates horticultural therapy into psychotherapy. She uses plants and flowers as therapeutic tools to help clients relieve stress, process emotions, and strengthen emotional resilience. Through floral and horticultural therapy, she offers a calming, sensory-rich space that supports mental well-being in children, youth, and elderlies.
Michelle is also a registered social worker/therapist with extensive experience supporting children with anxiety, depression, and neuro-divergent needs such as ASD and ADHD, using different evidence-based modalities like play therapy, Theraplay, Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, SFT and Art Facilitation. She works closely with parents experiencing stress, offering guidance through a family-centered approach that honors the crucial role of caregivers.
Hanamizuki Florist is now a certified AUBE Preserved Academy (日本保鮮花協會海外指定教室) located in Greater Toronto Area, Canada.
Students can complete their courses, take exams, and receive certificates issued by Japan, directly through the Hanamizuki Florist Preserved Academy.
